Empire State – CG Animation

I was trying to achieve a very Film Noir mood, with an art deco style, and a neutral color palette. aaronjamespatterson.com true-studios.com … cg animation empire state building art deco noir blimp zeppelin dirigible spotlight aaron james patterson

Didn’t only one airship dock at the Empire State Building because of it being so dangerous?

Always happy to see someone who knows their history! What a site it would have been to catch a glimpse of an airship actually tethered to the building.

You are right about the texturing. I have fixed it, but somehow that happened right as soon as I rendered that shot. Don’t know how. Oh well, it’s not a big deal for now.
